2. Conditions for God to fight for you
-
There are certain conditions that must be met before the Lord can fight for anyone.
-
You must be His child. Notice that the Lord will only fight for His children, He will not fight for the children of strangers.
-
If you want the Lord to be on your side and fight for you, then you must be ready to be His child
-
The only way to be His child, is to accept His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior
-
Then and only then, the Lord shall fight for you
-
[Rom 8:31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
-
Don’t allow sin into your life
-
The battle at Ai was lost because of sin entered the camp of the Israelites
-
Balak and Balaam – [Rev 2:14] But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
-
Invite God into the situations
-
God may show up uninvited if you don’t know how to invite Him. Just as He showed up for me when I was 10 or 11 years old.
-
God will show up only if you invite Him. Just like He showed up for me when I invited Him into a battle I could not fight.
-
You invite God into the situation through prayer
